Poole bloodlines

Imaginary ‘portraits’ for twelve successive generations of my mother’s ancestors created from original wills, parish register entries and other relevant documents.   The differing styles of handwriting, covering nearly 400 years, gives each individual a sense of historical place.
Individual Pooles, with dates of their marriage, are as follows:  Robert (1559), Thomas (1580), Robert (1617), Phillip (1655), Thomas (1687), Zephaniah (1717), William (1758), Zephaniah (1788), Thomas Zephaniah (1815), Thomas Zephaniah William (1856), Philip (1910), and Vera Grace Olive who, when she married in 1946, ceased to be a Poole.
